Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BudGIT AI mobile application ("App"), developed and published by XenonLabs ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

BudGIT AI is a one-time purchase. Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

AI features

The App includes AI-powered features such as transaction categorization, receipt parsing, a conversational financial assistant, voice input, and spending insights. These features run entirely on your device using a language model that is downloaded on first use.

AI-generated output — including categorizations, insights, and suggestions — is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You should not rely on the App as a substitute for professional financial guidance. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

Your data

All data you enter into the App — including transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, and any associated images — is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data, cannot view it, and cannot recover it on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. The App provides backup and export features for this purpose. Loss of data due to device failure, accidental deletion, or uninstalling the App is not something we can assist with.

You retain full ownership of all data you create within the App. For more details on how data is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Tamper with, circumvent, or disable any security features of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its underlying systems
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Redistribute, sublicense, or make the App available to third parties

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, or that the results obtained from AI features (including receipt scanning, voice recognition, categorization, and financial insights) will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, XenonLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or corruption of your data. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to purchase the App.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Since we do not collect your contact information, we recommend checking this page periodically.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which XenonLabs is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
