Privacy Policy

BudGIT AI is built by XenonLabs. This policy explains how the app handles your data. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we have no access to it.

What data does the app collect?

None. BudGIT AI does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All of your financial data — transactions, accounts, categories, budgets — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

The app does not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of sign-up to use.

On-device processing

BudGIT AI includes AI features (transaction categorization, receipt parsing, voice input, financial insights) that run entirely on your device using an on-device language model. No data is sent to any cloud service, API, or third-party server for AI processing.

Speech recognition and text recognition (OCR) also run locally on your device. Audio from voice input is processed on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Crash reporting

The app includes crash reporting to help us identify and fix issues. Crash reports may include:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version
• Stack traces from crashes

Crash reports never include your financial data, transaction history, account information, or any personally identifiable information. You can disable crash reporting at any time in settings.

Third-party services

BudGIT AI does not include any advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or third-party tracking. There are no social media integrations, no usage analytics, and no telemetry of any kind beyond the optional crash reporting described above.

Data storage and deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it and cannot recover it.

To delete your data, you can either use the in-app data management options or simply uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes all app data from your device completely.

Data export

You can export all of your data (transactions, accounts, categories) as CSV or JSON at any time from within the app. Your data is portable and never locked in.

Children's privacy

BudGIT AI does not collect data from anyone, including children. Since no personal information is collected or transmitted, there is no applicable children's data to protect. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since the app does not collect your data, we have no way to notify you directly — we recommend checking this page periodically.
